HP-PROBES for measuring quiescent, operating and peak currents up to 10,500 A and electrical voltages up to 80 V. Automatic Probe detection.

Features

The HP-PROBES consist of both a voltage and a current Probe.

  • Current measurement:
    • The measuring resistor is installed directly in the circuit via mounting lugs.
    • The fuse protection of the measuring circuit is provided by the customer.
  • Voltage measurement:
    • The measurement is performed with the help of a voltage divider, which reduces the input voltage to a value permissible for the modules.
  • The measuring resistor is installed directly in the circuit via mounting lugs
  • For applications up to 2,200 A continuous current (depending on design)
  • High precision shunt based current measurement for quiescent and operating currents
  • Automatic Probe detection (similar to TEDS)

Version

  • BF1, BF1+, BF2, BF2+, BF3

Setup

  • Measuring resistor in BF1 or BF2 version with mounting straps (temperature range -40...+130°C) and voltage divider
  • Memory chip for Probe identification and calibration data
  • U-Probe, measuring cable voltage = L3 (0.5m), heat resistant and highly flexible with free cable end
  • Data cable = L2 (1 / 3 / 5m) with 7-pin push-pull connector

Applications

  • Power measurement of power electronics in the vehicle or on test benches
  • Voltage measurements in the HV on-board network
  • HV batteries
  • HV temperature measurements

Scope of Delivery

  • HP-PROBE
  • Factory calibration (DAkkS optional)

Accessories

  • LV-Probe extension cable
  • Battery connection cable set with pole clamps
